Cassey is our resident old-man-dog. We affectionately call him “Bubba”. He is clumsy in his old age, and his eyesight likely has something to do with that. Cassey has an athletic, sturdy, square-framed body type, and a schnauzer trot that would put many to shame. Even in his old age,  he is a good-looking boy. He has an all-white coat, docked tail, and natural ears. He was retired from breeding in 2018 when Showdown Stables acquired him. 

Cassey wears sweaters to keep him warm in the winter because his coat has become quite thin as he ages. He is my little shadow and follows me around all day long. He is happy as long as he is beside me, where that is in the office while I am working, or on the couch in the evenings.

Cassey enjoys running laps outside during the warmer months, and laps inside around the coffee table in the winter months. We often joke about putting a Fitbit on his collar to see how many steps he does every day. He is a ferocious protector of his home and even though he only has one tooth left, he wouldn’t let anyone sneak up on me.
